Yingli Green Energy Announces Ability to Conduct In-House UL Certification Testing
July 31, 2013 - Yingli Green Energy today announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Yingli Energy (China) Company Limited, is now authorized to conduct in-house Underwriters Laboratories (UL) certification testing for solar modules. The participation in UL's Client Test Data Program further validates Yingli Green Energy's quality control and product testing capabilities. -

First Solar to Deliver 155MW Solar Power Projects for AGL Energy
July 30, 2013 - First Solar today welcomes the news that AGL Energy Limited has achieved financial close for two photovoltaic projects. First Solar has executed engineering, procurement and construction contracts to supply the projects with its advanced thin-film photovoltaic modules and provide EPC services. In addition, First Solar will provide maintenance support for a period of five years once the solar farms are operational. -

KYOCERA and Century Tokyo Leasing to Operate Solar Power Plants in Japan
July 29, 2013 - Kyocera Corporation announced that Kyocera TCL Solar with Century Tokyo Leasing Corporation, has begun operation of a 2.4 megawatt solar power plant in Kagawa Prefecture, Japan. The Takamatsu Ikushima Mega Solar Plant is the first to be launched under the company's business plan to operate up to 35 small- to mid-size utility-scale solar power plants in Japan. A ceremony marking the start of the plant's operation was held on July 25th with representatives from the local community and related companies. -
