    Wirsol Conludes Deal to Finance 61.2MW Solar Park in Denmark

    Approximately 60 million kWh of electricity is being generated by solar park in Scandinavia – sufficient energy to provide green power to around 30,000 private households. Situated in Lerchenborg in Denmark, the solar park has been connected to the grid since December 2015. It was built by WIRSOL.

    Solarpack to Develop 100MW DC PV Plants in India

    Solarpack has been selected to build six photovoltaic solar plants with a total power of 100MW DC in the Indian state of Telangana. Solarpack is in a partnership with Think Energy Partners. TSSPDCL will acquire all the generated electricity through a long term power purchase agreement (PPA) for a period of 25 years. These plants are expected to generate around 160GWh annually; thus catering to the huge energy requirements of the country.

    Phoenix Solar AG to Build 4.9MW Power Plant in Turkey

    Phoenix Solar AG and its partner Asunim Yenilenebilir Enerji Teknolojileri İnş. Müh. San. Tic. Ltd. Şti. have been jointly awarded an order by a Turkish governmental enterprise to build an array of four photovoltaic power plants with a total capacity of 4.9MW in the Incesu Industrial Zone in Kayseri in central Anatolia.

    In a joint venture, Kyocera Corporation and Century Tokyo Leasing Corporation announced today that Kyocera TCL Solar LLC has started construction of 13.7MW floating solar power plant on the Yamakura Dam reservoir, managed by the Public Enterprises Agency of Chiba Prefecture in Japan for industrial water services.

    JinkoSolar Partners with RWE AG in the 800MW Solar Project in Dubai

    JinkoSolar Holding Co., Ltd. today announced that it has formed a consortium with RWE AG through its subsidiary RWE Innogy to jointly participate in the 800MW Solar Photovoltaic Independent Power Project - Phase III tendered by the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Having successfully pre-qualified earlier this month, both parties are now preparing their joint tender response, which is expected to be submitted at the end of March 2016.
