SunEdison to Install 8.4MW Solar Projects at 28 Campuses in California
SunEdison, Inc. today announced that it has signed a 20 year power purchase agreement with the Rialto Unified School District in California for 8.4MW DC of solar power. As part of the agreement, SunEdison will install solar canopies above the parking lots of all 28 schools in the district. -

China Sunergy to Construct 14.5MW Solar Power Project in the Philippines
China Sunergy Co., Ltd. today announced that its subsidiary, CSUN-Solar International Limited has entered into an EPC agreement with YH Green Energy Incorporated for the construction of a 14.5MW solar power project. The construction of the project will begin in the third quarter of 2015, and is expected to be fully operational in the first quarter of 2016. -

Phono Solar Incorporated in Solarif's PV Module Quality Assurance List
Phono Solar has announced that Phono Solar PV module is successfully incorporated into Solar Insurance and Finance (Solarif) insurance list, after completion of a comprehensive specialist technical and financial risk assessment on technology, fund, environment and labor. As a result power plants using Phono Solar PV modules can insure their project against compensation of the cost of modules, labor, transportation and any cost caused by inherent defect in PV module including loss of profit due to insufficient power generation. The compensation mechanism in the insurance lasts for 20 years from the ex-factory date of PV module.
