REC and O Capital Sign MOU for a Solar Park in Egypt
REC and "O Capital for Services and Contracting" announce that the two companies have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to realize solar installations in Egypt. The first confirmed project from this event will be the construction of a 50MW-AC solar park in Benban near Aswan. The system is planned to be operational by September 2017. -

Martifer Solar Signs MOU for 25MW Project in Egypt
Martifer Solar and EEC Group were qualified by the Egyptian authorities to develop a 25MW solar plant. The companies have signed a MoU with NREA (National Renewable Energy Authority) for availing a 60,26ha land plot in Minya to build the plant. -

SPI Energy Cooperates with China Kangfu to Support PV Power Project
SPI Energy Co., Ltd. today announced that its subsidiary Gonghe Xinte Photovoltaic Power Generation Co., Ltd. has entered into a 10-year leasing agreement with China Kangfu International Leasing Co., Ltd. ("China Kangfu"), pursuant to which China Kangfu has already provided financing of RMB140 million to support the 20MW Gonghe Xinte solar power project in Qinghai Province. -

Solar Frontier Modules Selected for 16 Projects by Staten Solar
Solar Frontier announced today that its CIS modules will be installed at 16 solar project sites ranging in size up to 522kW by Staten Solar. These solar PV systems will be located in Tulare and Kern Counties of California's Central Valley on farms that produce almonds, pistachios and table grapes.
