As of today, Solaria, signs a physical power purchase agreement (PPA) with the Swiss company ALPIQ, for a contracted power of 105MW.
This agreement will have a ten years duration since the facilities commissioning.
This energy will be supplied from two projects located in Castilla y Léon and one in Castilla La Mancha to be connected to the grid throughout 2020. The three plants will have a 105MW installed capacity and will generate an estimated production of 200 GWh per year.
Enrique Díaz-Tejeiro, Solaria President: "We are still focus on signing PPAs with Tier 1 players. We have an excellent competitive position making us the ideal partner for many large companies that want to offer their customers green energy at a very competitive price in Spain".
The energy fed into the grid by the PV plants included in these contracts will be 100% renewable and will reduce the CO2 emissions to the atmosphere by more than 42,400 tons per year, thus helping to reach the targets of the Renewable European Directive 2009/28/EC to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. The volume of these contracts is equivalent to the consumption of more than 60,000 households per year.
