Meyer Burger Technology Ltd today announced that it has successfully concluded an important framework contract for the MAiA 2.1 technology platform with an existing Chinese customer.
This contract further confirms the clear shift in demand within the upgrade market from standard cell technologies to high-efficiency cell technologies like PERC.
This first order from the framework contract has a volume of about CHF 24 million. The delivery and commisssioning of the equipment is scheduled for the second quarter of 2017.
