Grace Solar Expects 100MW Shipment to Japan PV Market in 2014

Recently, the 1MW ground PV power station which locates in Chiba prefecture of Japan has been connected to grid. The whole project applied Grace Solar ground mounts system. Grace Solar will export about 50MW solar mounts to Japan in 2013 which is 10% of the company’s total export, and predict to add up to 100MW in 2014.

Benefit of the world's most attractive PV subsidy policy, Japan PV market is blooming. More than 1GW capacity has been installed in the first quarter, which means Japan may be the world’s second largest photovoltaic market. The new feed-in tariff subsidies bring strong growth to build public, industrial and utility scale solar power projects; the installed solar capacity is expected to reach 6.1GW to 9.4GW. 

Vice general manager of Grace Solar said, Grace Solar is very active in Japan market, and its ground mounts system (aluminum mount system+bolt foundation) is the most popular ones in Japan. One of the most outstanding advantages of this system is easy to install, which can save labor costs, shorten time limit for the whole project. Grace Solar ground solar mounts has been installed in Kawasaki, Miyagi, Fukuoka, Chiba and other large power station project, that laid a solid foundation for Grace Solar to develop the Japan market.
